I have read that the best way to get out of debt is to get off of the large credit card debt and to consolidate the debt into a single, larger loan than has a lower, in some cases much lower, interest rate. Is there any truth to this, or is this just a sales job from some crooked lender? Is this basically the same thing as what a Christian debt company does or is it something different?
